Due to everything that is going on in the world right now I find it only suitable to take my responsibility and educate both myself and others. Being a white privileged woman I know that I can't possibly understand what it is like to be a minority, judged and discriminated by things that should not still be an issue in modern society. Yet it is. People should not be treated differently because of their skin colour. Nor by their gender, sexuality, size or origin. We are all equal and it is time we start understanding, learning and changing. Now im not gonna sit here and pretend that I have all the answers and know a lot about racism and its history but what I am going to do is provide you with a list of resources that we can all use to together become more educated and show our support.

Even if you don't live in the States there is still plenty of things you can do to help and support.

The Black Lives Matter webpage has extensive information on both current news and resources to educate yourself. You can also sign up to receive their newsletter, make donations and sign petitions.

Petitions to sign:

Now say you live in Europe (or somewhere else) and you may be thinking, well this is all happening far away from me, how am I suppose to help? Well, a good start is by signing some or all of these petitions. Showing your support is not that hard, and signing these petitions will only take you a few minutes and it can actually help make a change.
